What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help pages function and, where you allow them, help us understand how guides are used.

Types we use

Essential cookies remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every visit. The site works if you reject optional cookies.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept) help us see which guides are read most often. They are not used to sell advertising lists.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
crowncoast_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject choice for optional cookies 1 year (localStorage) Crown & Coast Financial Advice
_cca_analytics Aggregated page-view counts for guide improvement (set only after Accept) 6 months Crown & Coast Financial Advice

Managing cookies

Use the Accept or Reject buttons on the cookie banner. You can clear stored preferences by deleting site data for communication-platforms.digital in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit. You may also block cookies entirely in browser settings.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google according to their policies. Images loaded from Unsplash are requested directly from their servers. We do not control third-party cookies those services may set independently.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting optional analytics does not block contact forms, appointment requests, or reading guides. Blocking all cookies or localStorage may cause the consent banner to reappear and may prevent us from remembering your choice.
